Whether you're an out-of-towner or a NYC local, here's where you can find (and post) all the relevant information about staying local during the The Next HOPE.
[edit] Hotel Pennsylvania
The Hotel Pennsylvania, the home of The Next HOPE, is by far the most convenient hotel to stay in (for obvious reasons). Also, it's one of the most affordable hotels you'll find in midtown Manhattan, even before considering the special HOPE group rates the hotel offers. The hotel's special rates for HOPE are $129 for a single bed and $159 for a double. Calling +1.212.736.5000 or +1.800.223.8585 and asking for the HOPE Conference Rate will get you those room prices (while they last).
It's low cost means it's not endowed with all the grand amenities of other high priced New York hotels, but you'll find it's far above par compared to many good U.S. hotels.

There are various situations were Hotel Pennsylvania will not work (e.g. the hotel being sold out). So, collecting some information for some of the other options is prudent. You can find several decent hotels with good pricing (be it less convenient).
