British shoppers make 13.5% of their purchases online, compared to roughly 5% in the United States.
In fact, the United Kingdom is leading the world in ecommerce. Their digital economy is growing at a rate of 10.9% a year. British shoppers are buying more online, and retailers are opening online stores and selling their wares in droves.
