Press Conference to Announce Formation of National Coalition for Cheap & Reliable Access to Space (CATS)
Nyack, NY, July 16, 2008 A broad array of not-for-profit organizations will announce the creation of a National Coalition for Cheap and reliable Access to Space (CATS) on July 17th at the NewSpace 2008 Conference. The Coalition will sponsor a National Summit on CATS in the battleground state of Ohio on October 7th & 8th, one month before the presidential election, and will deliver a Declaration for CATS to the next President of the United States.

Foundation Mourns Passing of Space Visionary Sir Arthur C. Clarke's Lasting Legacy to be Celebrated July 19th at the Foundation's Annual Conference
Nyack, NY, March 21, 2008 Science and science fiction alike lost a legend this past week with the passing of Sir Arthur C. Clarke. Credited with introducing the concept of communications satellites in 1945, Clarke also wrote more than 30 non-fiction works and dozens of short stories and novels. Although most remembered as the co-author of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Clarke was a staunch advocate of personal space flight.
