This guide will explain how to burn a BIN/CUE with VCDEasy (freeware).

Tools needed: Latest VCDEasy and probably latest ASPI Layer.

Note! If you would receive any error while you are burning be sure to upgrade to latest ASPI, read this guide for more information.

    Start VCDEasy
    Select Settings
    Select Enable CDRDAO
And then restart VCDEasy (close it and start it again)

    Select (S)VCD
Choose your CD Writer under the CD Writer tab

    Select Tools
Open the CUE file that comes with the BIN file by clicking on the CUE/TOC-button.
And last hit BURN to burn the BIN/CUE file. You could select Simulate if you want to test if it work the first time you burn.

    Done.

    Problems
If you would receive any error while you are burning be sure to upgrade to latest ASPI, read this guide for more information. If that does not help you could try burn with some other software.

I am trying to follow your guide, but I can't get past step one. I check the box to activate CDRDAO, but when I quit and restart, it is unchecked again. I tried editting the .INI file, but it apparently generates a new file each time.

Any help would be appreciated. I am using Windows XP.

    Thanks,
    Lyle

if that doesn't help burn with another tool.

Thanks, that worked. I assumed that I had them already since I had Easy CD Creator installed.

    Thanks,

I used this guide to burn a bin/cue for an MPEG-2 movie. Everything burned fine, except that when I went to play the SVCD on my DVD player (a Sanyo DWM 360), the sound was very choppy. The picture was perfect, but about every other second, the sound would cut out, and then it would come back the next second. Does anybody know if this is a problem with the way I burned the BIN/CUE file, or is it just a problem with my DVD player?

I have looked at the comments on this site about the Sanyo DMW 360 and they said that I should get the bin/cue file through VCDEasy (which I did), and then burn that with Nero. When I tried that, Nero5 (version 5.5.4.0) tried to put the cue file on the CD twice, so it couldn't burn. I used the directions to burn a bin/cue file with Nero that were also provided on this site. If anybody can help me with this problem also, that'd be great.

    Thanks
