Portal 2 Guide

by Samuel Claiborn

It turns out that Aperture Science's greatest creation, the Portal Gun, survived the events of Portal, which left the Aperture labs in rubble. Unfortunately, its least greatest creation, GLaDOS, survived as well. In the sequel, the science-loving supercomputer that's also kind of a super-jerk returns to make your life hell. In this guide we'll help you shut down the rampant AI and escape the massive Aperture Science facility. Again.

Common Questions & Answers
Does Portal 2 have multiplayer?
Portal 2 does not have competitive multiplayer, but it has a cooperative multiplayer mode in which two players can play through a completely different game -- the puzzles require two portal guns!
Can I play splitscreen co-op? Please?
Sure! If you are playing the game on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 its easy. If you are playing on PC, listen to Hessian's advice: You just need at least 1 controller that is compatible with a PC. Even though there's no "button" on the PC version to do it, it's still possible, it's just sort of hidden.
