Writers’ Guidelines

CJR accepts unsolicited queries. They can be submitted through e-mail or regular mail. Include a resume and a brief summary of your journalism experience and qualification to write the piece. We publish six time a year, and lead time for a piece is typically at least one month. We pay a kill fee of one-third of the agreed upon amount if the piece is delivered satisfactorily and then not used.
