ManilaSites
ManilaSites are easy to use, pre-configured websites and weblogs offered to new users on a trial basis to demonstrate the extreme ease-of-use of Manila-based websites. With ManilaSites, tens of thousands of people have experienced the joy and power of creating a live and personal website in less than 5 minutes. And best of all, because Manila includes all the necessary software codes in the web pages themselves, you don't need to know a thing about HTML, FTP or any other web protocal to create and manage a Manila website.
To experience Manila first hand, all you need to do is visit ManilaSites, type in your own unique domain name and start our own website. Each ManilaSite trial is good for 30 days, after that, if you wish to maintain your Manila website or weblog, the cost is $99 per year. For that price, you get 50 megabytes of storage space and up to 2Gb of bandwidth per month. This is enough power for 98% of ManilaSite users, but if you ever require additional capacity, it is available immediately for a small additional fee. Hosted Manila Small Business Edition
Hosted Manila Small Business Edition is the ideal solution for any small business that would like to deploy a website while avoiding the cost and hassle of hiring expensive web designers, buying and maintaining web servers and having to pay someone everytime the website needs to be updated. Using any of dozens of pre-built Manila templates, all the site owner need do is pick a theme, update the site content, assign the appropriate domain and deploy the website. Of course, most new users will require some help in getting started and will desire some amount of customization for their website. Recognizing this, UserLand includes up to two hours of free Expert Manila help with every Hosted Manila Small Business website. Once the site is up and running the way you want it, anyone within your organization with editorial priviledges can make changes and corrections to your website at anytime without the need to call out for expensive and often delayed external IT support.
Hosted Manila Small Business Edition costs $299 per year and comes with up to 100 megabytes of storage space and up to 5 Gb of bandwidth per month. You also get two hours of Expert Manila support usable anytime during the license period. Hosted Manila Enterprise Edition
Hosted Manila Enterprise Edition is the ideal solution for school or department that wants to deploy an inexpensive Manila solution without having to navigate the internal issues of working with the IT department to locate, deploy and support a Manila server. A Hosted Manila website deployment can be up and running almost immediately and can be transitioned to an independently licensed and self-hosted solution at any time.
Hosted Manila Enterprise solutions start at $499 per year with up to 200 megabytes of storage space and up to 10 Gb of bandwidth per month. In addition, the Enterprise Edition includes up to two additional full-featured Manila sites configured as subdomains that can be used (within the overall storage and bandwidth limits) to create linked websites or weblogs. As with the Small Business offering, the Enterprise Edition includes two hours of Expert Manila assistance to help with setup, training or troubleshooting. Addtional Expert Manila support is avalable at any time on an ala carte basis for $120 per hour.
Virtual Manila Server
Virtual Manila Server is for those organizations that want to unleash the full power of Manila to create multiple websites, communication portals, discussion groups and/or dozens to hundreds of weblogs -- all without the need to download and install any software, configure or manage a webserver, or request the help of your over-extended IT staff. Virtual Manila Server includes a one-year license to your own copy of the Manila software and because it is your license, you can do anything you want within the limits of the storage and bandwidth level you select.
- Bronze - $1,099 per year for up to 10Gb of storage, 10Gb of monthly bandwidth and up to 50 separate websites or weblogs. An ideal solution for a smaller organization that wants to deploy Manila across the organization but does not have the need or the resources to manage an in-house server.
- Silver - $2,500 per year for up to 10Gb of storage, 20Gb of monthly bandwidth and up to 250 separate websites or weblogs (that's only $10 a year for a website or weblog). With this solution, an entire corporate department or an entire grade-level within a school can maintain individual websites or weblogs for each of their members for less than the cost of one high-performance server. The Silver package includes includes four hours of Expert Manila assistance to help with setup, training or troubleshooting.
- Gold - $5,000 per year for up to 25Gb of storage, 50Gb of monthly bandwidth and no limit on the number of websites or weblogs created (custom configurations, server news aggregator, private RSS feeds and private search functionality all require at least Gold-level packages). With this solution, a medium-sized business or an entire school can maintain individual websites or weblogs for each of their members for less than the usual cost of building one website. Gold-level systems include nightly backups and up to 8 hours of Expert Manila setup and configuration support.
- Platinum - $10,000 per year for up to 80Gb of storage, 100Gb of monthly bandwidth and no limit on the number of websites or weblogs created. Platinum-level systems include nightly backups and up to 16 hours of Expert Manila setup and configuration support. Packages can also be customized with additional security and web traffic analytics services.
