Kurt Hawks, General Manager
Kurt leads the Greystripe organization and is responsible for the company’s market vision and execution. He was most recently Greystripe’s VP of Operations, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s business operations. Prior to Greystripe, Kurt was at Monitor Ventures where he focused on evaluating investment opportunities and building early-stage businesses in the areas of mobile, media, software and business services. Previously, Kurt was an Engagement Manager at Monitor Group where he advised clients on various corporate strategy issues including development of growth strategies, organizational design and new business creation. Kurt was also a Project Manager at Sapient Corporation and is a graduate of Boston College.

Artem Grigoryan, Application Architect
Artem is responsible for technical development and overall system architecture. Most recently, directing the software development efforts for mobile ad server product. Prior to Greystripe, Artem worked at Panther Express, a leading Content Delivery Network acquired by CDNetworks, where he was an architect of their caching technology. Before joining Panther Express, Artem was a technical manager of the Retail Technology Group at Pay By touch inc., the leading biometric authentication company for loyalty and payment solutions. Artem began his career at DoublClick, a provider of digital marketing technology and services acquired by Google, where he worked on multiple core products including Dart for Publishers and Dart Enterprise. Artem received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Columbia University.

Kevin Granath, VP of Sales East
Kevin has been involved in media for close to three decades, starting in television production and moving to TV and digital ad sales for the past 20 years. He started ESPN’s online ad sales efforts in the mid-90′s and led the ESPN.com sales team for 5 years; his team also handled sales for NFL.com, NBA.com and NASCAR Online. He left to head sales at entrepreneurial ventures in the online and mobile sectors, including Windwire, one of the first mobile ad networks. ESPN pulled him back to start the sales effort for their mobile and emerging properties, and a few years later he left with some colleagues to start a mobile ad agency, Ansible. He most recently led the sales effort at Sportgenic, a vertical online ad network based here in San Francisco.

Jenny Burrington, VP of Sales North West
Jenny manages a team of talented mobile sales professionals and is passionate about building relationships with brands and agencies to help them reach their mobile marketing goals and KPI’s. She also manages Greystripe’s Inside Sales channel for publishing partners. Jenny joined the Greystripe team in 2006 to facilitate the launch of Greystripe’s first ad-supported off-deck mobile advertising platform; GameJump. She then moved into advertising sales to bring Greystripe’s mobile advertising product to the marketplace. Jenny has sold Greystripe’s mobile ads to top ad agencies for major brands across the U.S. including; JC Penney, Diet Coke Plus, Subway, Nintendo, Best Buy, Paramount Pictures, U.S. Army and Navy, Axe, Universal Pictures and Disney. Prior to Greystripe, Jenny worked at Electronic Arts in both mobile content and video game advertising. While at EA, she integrated fortune 500 brands into video games and online gaming communities. Jenny began her career in mobile at Sprint PCS in July 1999 during the mobile phone boom.

Chris Dunn, Director of Engineering
Chris is responsible for managing Greystripe’s world class software development and IT operations teams. Prior to joining Greystripe, Chris was Vice President of Operations at Moderati (acquired by Bellrock Media), a leading mobile content aggregator and ringtone pioneer, where he joined pre-incorporation to build all facets of the content management team. Previously, he was at Franklin Templeton where he held many roles in Engineering and Product Management, and successfully graduated from their acclaimed management trainee program. Chris has a BS in Business Management from Santa Clara University.

Xander Mitman, Director of Product Management
Xander manages the product roadmap and development for Greystripe’s advertising products and internal systems. He brings over a decade of mobile expertise to Greystripe, starting with his work at ALK Technologies “miniaturizing” GPS navigation laptop software to run on the first Windows Pocket PCs (CF cards anyone?), then guiding the evolution of real-time location sharing, traffic avoidance, and enterprise asset tracking as smartphones emerged. Before moving into the advertising business, he spent four years at MobiTV developing end-to-end managed service streaming media products for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, XM Radio, and others across a multitude of mobile platforms and billing systems. Xander holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.

John Hession, Director of Operations
John is responsible for keeping Greystripe running smoothly, managing both the media operations and account management teams. Prior to joining Greystripe, John was a Deployment Manager at Solidus Networks, where he managed the large scale rollout of biometric payment solutions to retail stores nationwide and managed the company’s top-tier accounts. Previously, John was a project management and IT consultant for CACI International where he supervised a team of software deployment professionals. John has a BSE in Systems Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dane Holewinski, Senior Director of Business Development
Dane and his team of business development and account management professionals are responsible for building deep relationships with the world’s premier publishers, mobile application developers and other strategic partners. Previously, he oversaw all aspects of Greystripe marketing including marketing strategy, product marketing, press and media relations, corporate communication, social media, events and lead generation. Prior to Greystripe, Dane ran ECI, which provided mobile data solutions to enterprise clients with distributed assets, and was a management consultant with Monitor Group. Dane graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Finance, Management and International Business from Georgetown University.
