Our mission is to build a community to facilitate the study of Free and Open Source Software by providing free data analysis tools. Though, today, everyone uses FOSSology for scanning files for licenses and copyrights.
The FOSSology project site is in the process of being rebuilt, organized and cleaned up. Tell us what you think at fossology@fossology.org. All comments & suggestions are welcome.
Packages for download are available from www.fossology.org/releases/. Or, you can grab the source tarball from sourceforge.net/projects/fossology/files/fossology/2.0.0/.

The public demo fossology server (repo.fossology.org/) once hosted by OSUOSL is no longer available. This is a long story. Write if you want the details. Better yet, set up a public fossology server of your own. We can help.
