    The Warner Theatre

    The CT Film Festival kicked off its 2011 season at The Warner Theatre on February 4 – 6 with bells and whistles and featured more than 75 feature, documentary and short films from around the world. And, despite significant snow-fall and torrential ice storms, enthusiastic audiences flocked to the Union Savings Bank - Opening Night area premiere film and after party for the Connecticut based feature: “Harvest” starring Academy Award nominees Robert Loggia and Barbara Barrie as well as Tony® Winner Victoria Clark, Arye Gross and newcomer Jack Carpenter and featured Oscar® Nominee Original Music by Grammy Award Winner Duncan Sheik and David Poe.

    The Palace Theatre - April 26-29

    CTFF returns to The Hat City this April 26-29. The 2012 Danbury festival will screen more than 75 feature, documentary and short films and  present over a dozen film, digital media and screenwriting industry educational events.

    The 2011 Union Savings Bank – Opening Night premiere film and after party headlined the Connecticut grown documentary “Dislecksia: The Movie” directed by Newtown native Harvey Hubbell. More than 60 films and numerous workshops attracted record audiences to the other major indies including “Lifted”, “Patti Smith: Dream of Life” and “What If” staring Kevin Sorbo, Kristy Swanson, John Ratzenberger and Debby Ryann.

    The Kate - June 28-July 1

    CTFF returns to the Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center this June 28 - July 1.

    Last year around the same time a variety of films headlined at the second Old Saybrook Connecticut film Festival weekend that would make old Kate proud! Documentaries with strong social messages to short films that tickled your funny bone graced the screen of this beautiful venue. More than 75 films will be highlighted at this year’s event including World and Connecticut Premieres!
