What outreach and nutrition education materials are available?
Outreach materials are designed to educate low income people about the nutrition benefits of SNAP and encourage participation. Materials include posters, brochures, and flyers, among other items. Many are available in Spanish. All are free.

The nutrition education materials, including brochures, guidebooks, and handouts, convey messages from MyPyramid (and the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans) in a low literacy format in English and Spanish. All are free.

Who can use them?
Partners, advocates, food banks, State and local SNAP offices, nutrition educators and anyone else engaged in SNAP outreach or nutrition education is invited to order these materials. Many materials include the national toll free number; however, you may customize the materials with your own phone number by adding a sticker or a stamp.

Are materials available in PDF for download?
Yes, many of these materials are also available in PDF for download. Some materials are only available in PDF and are not available in hard copy. To view items available for download and access PDF versions of the materials, click the "Go to Download Center" link below.

How do I place an order?
Select a target population "nutrition education" from the drop down menu to view available items designed for that group. To view all available materials, select "Show All." Enter the quantity you wish to order in the box next to the item. Then click "Continue" button to continue. Enter your mailing address when prompted. Review your order or edit any of the information before placing the order by clicking on "Place order". You will receive a confirmation of your order by email. Orders are usually received within seven to ten days.
