Sunday to relax

Ahh...chill time. It didn't rain today. At all! The streets of Van City are real quiet. Apparently there's some big sports event on today, some game or something. Just playing. I know it's Superbowl Sunday. I just don't really care, that's all. But I do hope all you football fans out there are having a great day drinking beer, staying glued to the set, yelling a bunch, and doing whatever else you do. Enjoy.

Went to a little dinner soiree last night. It was me and my girls Jacquie, Cat, Carmen (watch for her in Godiva's) plus Carmen's little son and Cat's ex, Jones--an integral part of our crew of late. Jones barbecued steaks for us all, and we ate them with salad and baked potatoes (with all the fixings!), followed by the best raspberry rhubarb pie you've ever had in your life. Listened to Dilated Peoples' Expansion Team (Jones favorite). Watched a little SNL with Prince and Steve Martin. Wished it was funnier.

Worked on my book all weekend, too. And caught up on email. Shout out to DJ Silvastone in the UK and Gaby in Norway and Francis and Krazy Native in Uganda.
