Recently, my kids, acquired baby chicks to raise to produce fresh eggs. Needless to say the grands get very excited over having these baby chicks. In the teaching you are about to listen to Trisha teaches on the concept of Brooding that is used to describe the feminine nature of Father God in Matthew 23. Brooding defined means to provide favorable conditions for life’s development. Brooding is illustrated by a mother hen spreading her wings to provide a place of safety. As the grands began to squeal over the chicks, the chicks became very afraid and they began to huddle together. I decided to test this brooding concept and I stood over the chicks and spread my arms like the wings of a mother hen. Instinctively, all of the chicks came running to get underneath my arms of protection. This is a vivid picture of a mother providing conditions for her babies to feel safe and develop but for many of us we never have had the protective love of a mom and so we don’t understand the concept of nurture. This series will help you to identify the pain of your past issues with your own mom or mother figures who were to wounded to provide favorable conditions for your development.
