Introduction to the Vantec NexStar SE Dual 2.5” SATA Hard Drive Rack
Over the years Vantec has being sending over some great products for us to review and bring to the eyes of our readers. Many of these products we find quite useful as they are still being used around the lab in order to further enhance some of our present day reviews. This may be the case with our next item from Vantec as well.
Do you have a multitude of 2.5" SATA storage devices you swap around on a somewhat regular basis, or find yourself upgrading drives to have the 'Latest and Greatest'? Then what better way to access your data than through an internal hotswappable cage like this one that Vantec has for us today! The Vantec NexStar SE Dual 2.5” SATA Hard Drive Rack allows an individual to install up to two of the small 2.5" drives into a desktop without having to remove side panels, look for open SATA ports, install the drive and run the cables to it. However, the best feature of all is you will maintain the SATA II speeds throughout the data transfer, far better than USB that can raise CPU usage which can result in fluctuating speeds.
