A Shockingly Skinny Matthew McConaughey Spotted At LAX

AUTHOR: Keith@iPodder
November 14th, 2012

Anyone remember Christian Bale in the movie The Machinist? ‘Cause that’s exactly the very first thing that popped in my mind when I first saw this photo of Matthew McConaughey trying to catch a flight headed to New Orleans at the Los Angeles Airport on Friday.

Apparently, the reason behind the 43-year-old actor’s staggering weight loss is that it’s in preparation for his forthcoming role in the movie The Dallas Buyers Club, in which he plays an HIV/AIDS patient. McConaughey was reported to have shed a whopping 38 pounds but to anyone feeling any concern about the actor’s health, fret not, for a source told People that, “Matthew starts shooting this weekend, so he’s at his absolute lowest weight. In a month, he’ll begin to put it back on.”

In an interview with Us Weekly in August, McConaughey said about the role and its physical demands, “I’m playing a guy who was sick and would have loved to have been healthier but wasn’t. For me, it’s more of a mental thing that a physical thing. I’ll get down to the weight I need to get to. I’m on my way, and it’s what I need to do for the job.” He also told Anne Thompson of Indiewire that he has been fasting and subsisting on a diet of fresh fish and red wine.

The Dallas Buyers Club will be shown next year, 2013, and will also star Jared Leto and Jennifer Garner.

Check out this video from E! News Now covering Matthew’s drastic weight change:

AI Season 11 Finalist Elise Testone Denies Ruining Marriage

AUTHOR: Keith@iPodder
November 13th, 2012

American Idol Season 11 finalist, Elise Testone, is being accused of having ruined the marriage of her Idol guitarist, Errol Cooney. Erin, Errol Cooney’s now soon-to-be ex-wife, has filed for divorce last week at the LA County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Elise, however, denies having the affair with Errol, saying, “We developed a friendship on Tour and he developed feelings for me. Their divorce has nothing to do with me and has been a long time coming.”

But Erin’s representative says otherwise, stating that the affair between Elise and Errol was the reason for the divorce case. The rep also added that there was even a time when their client confronted Errol about the relationship after she stumbled upon what she believed to be incriminating emails; Errol confessed to everything, the rep said.

And that’s not all. Just last week, TMZ claims that they obtained an email that Elise supposedly sent to Erin which states, “Errol was the only person who I felt really loved me in my entire life.” The email also contained apologies from the American Idol’s sixth finalist saying that she was sorry for “any pain you feel I may have caused you, but this is not my fault.”

So far, there’s still no word from Errol.

For the meantime, here’s a recent video of Elise performing an original song entitled I Will Not Break:
