MARIST ART FACULTY WORK ON DISPLAY IN STEEL PLANT STUDIO EXHIBITION
POUGHKEEPSIE - The work of sixteen Marist art faculty members will be on display at the College's Steel Plant Studios beginning Thursday, September 6.
Works include photographs, paintings, sculptures, digital work, drawings, and artist books from faculty members, including: Gallery Director and Professor of Art Ed Smith; Associate Professor of Studio Art and Chair of the Department of Art and Art History Donise English, Senior Professional Lecturer in Art Dan McCormack; Associate Professor of Digital Media Matt Frieburghaus; Professor of Art James Luciana; Professor of Art Richard Lewis, who also serves as academic coordinator for the Marist/LdM Programs and as director of the Masters in Museum Studies.
Adjunct faculty members represented in the exhibit include Michael Garland, Jacqueline Gregory, Laura Kaufman, Stephen Niccolls, Gabe Brown (whose work Deep Freeze is at right), Laura Hammond-Toonkel, Lois Walsh, Steven Petruccio, Christopher Seubert, and Patricia Isaza.
The Marist Art Faculty Exhibition runs through Saturday, October 6. Gallery hours are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
