jcimd is a simple Java implementation of the CIMD protocol. Computer Interface to Message Distribution (CIMD) is a proprietary short message service center protocol developed by Nokia for their SMSC (now Nokia Siemens Networks).

Release Notes: The original author could not be contacted to merge proposed patches, so the code base was forked and migrated from Google Code to GitHub. Deserialization works without optional CIMD packet checksums. Stateless serialize/deserializePacket methods have been added.

dhcpy6d delivers IPv6 addresses for DHCPv6 clients, which can be identified by DUID, hostname, or MAC address, as in the good old IPv4 days. Addresses may be generated randomly, by range, or by arbitrary ID or MAC address. Clients can get more than one address, leases and client configuration can be stored in databases, and DNS can be updated dynamically.

Release Notes: The DHCPv6 server dhcpy6d is now able to listen on more than one interface. Random leases are cleaned from the lease database.

libmemcached is a C client library for interfacing to a memcached server. It has been designed to be light on memory usage, thread safe and to provide full access to server side methods. It also implements several command line tools: memcat, memflush, memrm, memstat, and memslap (for load generation). The library has been designed to allow for different hashing methods on keys, partitioning by keys, and to use consistent hashing for distribution.

Release Notes: CLIENT_ERROR has been fixed to not be treated as a fatal error. Compiler fixes for older Ubuntu releases.

upstart is a replacement for the /sbin/init daemon that handles starting of tasks and services during boot, stopping them during shutdown, and supervising them while the system is running.

Release Notes: 'telinit u' now performs a stateful re-exec, allowing Upstart to continue to supervise jobs after an upgrade of either itself or any of its dependent libraries. This release adds a dependency on libjson (JSON-C). It adds initramfs-less boot support. It allows tests to work in an sbuild environment. Improved error handling. Release Notes: There is now a way to “hide” campaigns and lists that are no longer in use. Many changes were made and new graphs provided on the Live page, including statistics of running campaigns. Editing of call attributes and export of call sets was added. New lists can be created from campaign outcomes (from the Reports tab). Over 50 errors were fixed in the GUI. Performance was improved. There is now the option to install WombatDialer manually in a Web container, so you do not have to use the RPM packages if you don’t need to.

eyeD3 is a Python program and module that provides the ability to read and write ID3 tags (v1.x and v2.3/v2.4). It also decodes MP3 headers (bit rate, sample frequency, play time, etc.).

Release Notes: The command line script now supports plugins. The default plugin is the classic interface for tag reading and editing. Plugins were provided for writing NFO files, displaying lame/xing headers, jabber tunes, and library statistics. The module name is now 'eyed3' for better conformance to standards. A new tag interface based on properties was added. ID3 date frame support was improved, and 2.3<->2.4 conversion and other conversions in general were improved. Native support was provided for many more ID3 frame types. Installation with 'pip' is now supported. MIME type and Unicode support was improved. This version is not API compatible with 0.6.x releases.

iterate simply takes a commandline with an inserted dollar sign, $, and substitutes it with entries from a list. Each such inserted commandline is executed sequentially. The command must be contained within double quotes. The list is specified either comma-delimited on the commandline with the -l option or one-per-line in a file specified with the -f option. iterate is particularly useful in sending commands to clusters of nodes. It was written with ssh/plink in mind.

cmogstored is an alternative, C implementation of the "mogstored" storage daemon used for MogileFS storage nodes. This implementation allows MogileFS storage nodes to be deployed with a minimal memory/filesystem footprint with no additional runtime dependencies. This implements all HTTP/1.1 DAV functionality needed by MogileFS clients as well as the mogstored stream protocol. This project is still in the early stages of development and not directly affiliated with the MogileFS project.

Release Notes: Minor bugfixes and feature updates. The "server aio_threads = <digit>" management protocol command from Perlbal is now supported.
