Newsletter Subscription FAQ
SUBSCRIBE — Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be asked to also email a confirmation. Alternatively, you can subscribe without email confirmation by entering your email address.
UNSUBSCRIBE — Send email to email@example.com to unsubscribe from the ACMW-CIS newsletter, or online by entering your email address.
SEND A MESSAGE — Send email to firstname.lastname@example.org to send a message to all ACMW-CIS newsletter subscribers. This is a moderated list. You will be asked to confirm your message, and the list moderator will have to approve it.
Managing Your Subscription
Email any of the following commands to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ACM.ORG to change your subscription to the ACMW CIS newsletter list.
"SET acmw-cis-newsletter DIGEST" — to receive the digested version of the postings
"SIGNOFF acmw-cis-newsletter" — to leave the list
"SET acmw-cis-newsletter REPRO" — to get a copy of messages you send
"SET acmw-cis-newsletter ACK NOREPRO" — to receive a brief acknowledgment of messages you send
"SET acmw-cis-newsletter NOACK NOREPRO" — To turn off acknowledgments completely
