If you are getting started using Manila, you can find resources here for learning how to use your Manila site and get support from the UserLand community.

Things to Read

  • FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions by those starting out with Manila
  • Manila User's Guide
  • The Tip Sheet - a collection of tips posted in the early days after Manila was released
  • HowTos - a miscellany of Manila technical explanations

Places to Ask Questions

  • Discussion Group

Other Places

  • Macros - a site describing the macros and UserTalk scripting verbs available to Manila. Some of these (as noted on the site) pertain to the Group 3 crowd.
  • Themes - a list of the skins (looks) you can apply to your Manila site with just a couple clicks.

I think you should make it the color of a Manila Folder ;-)

Otherwise it looks great.

I like it, the visited links are a little hard to see on my screen. Too light. Please don't forget the search box :(

Thanks for comments (you too Sam). I've moved the font sizing and colours a bit; let me know if this resolves the colour and sizing issues.

Manila folder, eh....? There's a theme candidate if ever there was one!

I've changed the font sizing from ems to pts on this site to see if that resolves some concerns about layout on Netscape/Win. Let me know if anyone has any problems with this or if it helps. TIA.

Can I make an editorial suggestion?

Do you really need: Group One Group Two Group Three

I think it's just an added layer of abstraction.

I already know what product I use, why do I need to figure out what group that puts me in?
