About the writers: Robert Kroese's first novel, Mercury Falls, is a humorous story about angels, linoleum and the apocalypse. The sequel, Mercury Rises, was published in 2011. Becca Lawton writes about nature, human and otherwise. Her writing honors include the inaugural Ellen Meloy Fund Award for Desert Writers and three Pushcart Prize nominations.
