Our Projects
1. Indira Mahila Samekit Vikas Yojna (IMSVY):-With the support of ICDS Deptt. Uttarakhand Govt. this programme was conducted in Yamkeshwar block in the year 2005. Under this scheme the strengthening of women was our priority. While working intensively in 15 panchayats, we tried to awaken and strengthen the panchayat representatives, citizen leaders, SHGs. Due to our efforts, a block level organization of women representatives has been formed, which is raising women problems in priority. Under this scheme we took the issues of Birth-Death, Marriage Registration, women rights and empowerment of legal issue and regarding panchayats. For spreading the above issues to each and every one, we took the medium of different workshops, village level meetings, rally, Nukkad Natak etc. In our programme. We also took support of local public, panchayats and Govt. officers.
2. Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan:-Under this programme with the support of Uttarakhand Govt. 04 Alternative Innovation Education Centre and 01 Education Guarantee Scheme centre was conducted where 290 (approx) poor children were taking education. All these children belongs to slum area. In these centers education was given at primary school level. In these centers total 07 teacher were employed. All these children were admitted in Govt. schools after proper training and teaching. In this way they came in main stream of the society.
3. Pre Election Voters Awareness Campaign for Panchayat Election:-In the year 2008 we started voters awareness campaign for the coming panchayat election in Uttarakhand. For this campaign, Sahbhagi Shikshan Trust (SST) Lucknow supported us. This programme was conducted in 60 panchayats of Distt. Pauri, Tehri and Dehraun for 06 blocks with the support of 04 partner organizations. Under this campaign banner, pamphlet, poster, nukkad natak, wall writing, village level meeting, support in nomination of candidates and other such types of activities were done. The purpose of this campaign was to create interest towards election among general public, selection of good candidate with clean image and to enhance the participation of women and SC ST people.
