Objective

The objectives of organization are as under:

To introduce and disseminate technical and resource based education in rural areas.
To create awareness among rural community regarding science and technology based income generating activities.
To generate employment among rural youth, farm women and other marginalized section of community through technology transfer on location specific, need based low cost technology.
To organize meeting, training seminar, workshop and other skill based activites on various issues for socio-economic up-liftment of rural communities.

Kapkot sewaSamiti

Kapkot sewaSamiti (kss) is a Non Profit and Non-Governmental Voluntary Organization working for socioeconomic up-liftment and sustainable development of hill communities since 2002. The Organization is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 having its registration No. 477/2002 dated 25/12/2002.We work in the skill and capacity building of rural communities through participatory approach. Awareness generation amongst rural communities regarding technical education, agricalture, livelihood and income generation through locally available resources are the major interventions done by society in rural areas of hill region. We undertake small trainings and workshop programs for rural youth, farm women and students to generate employment and sustain livelihood in remote areas of Uttarakhand.
