Accessibility

We’re committed to promoting equality in all our activities and aim to provide an environment free from discrimination and unfair treatment.

Openness is one of the University’s core values. We recognise that increasing opportunities for anyone who wants to engage with our campus community and facilities is also a benefit to us. Further information is available from our Equality and Diversity Unit

Physical Access

If you experience an issue with physical access anywhere on campus, please email physicalaccessissues@gla.ac.uk where a member of Estates and Buildings staff will be able to help.

spacer DisabledGo: an online description of the physical access features of over 80 university services buildings, including the Hunterian Museum, Sports and Recreation Service, Library and various accommodation sites.

Accessibility maps

We have produced accessibility maps for our main campus. These highlight where there are accessible parking spaces and toilets.

Mobility Scooters

Mobility Scooters are available for loan on a daily basis for those who have difficulty moving between locations on campus.  Please contact the Disability Service directly for further details.

Campus Infrastructure Disability Liaison Group (CIDLG)

CIDLG is a consultative forum for staff and students to discuss physical access issues on campus. It is a forum where concerns and solutions can be discussed with directly affected parties. For more information, including how to join the group, please visit the Equality and Diversity Unit webpages.
