Supporting The Los Angeles Police Department

www.LAPDOnline.org

Radar Blue is proud to provide support and maintenance to the Los Angeles Police Department's website at www.LAPDOnline.org. LAPDOnline.org is a central tool in the LAPD's efforts to inform the public on everything from missing persons to crime alerts. It also provides up-to-date information on all of the city's police divisions.

Radar Blue was fortunate to have been selected as the primary technical contractor by Lightray Productions, a premier web design company, more than 6 years ago to rebuild and transform the Los Angeles Police Department's website LAPDonline.org from a static, html-based site to a custom CMS allowing the department autonomy over its unique web publishing needs.

California PAL

spacer The mission of the California Police Activities League (California PAL) is to unite "law enforcement and communities by providing youth programs which develop discipline, positive self-image, mutual trust and respect."

Radar Blue is honored to have been chosen as California PAL's technology partner and has completed a full overhaul of the www.calpal.org website.

Features include integrating the Google maps API to create a searchable PAL chapter map, secure back-end administration allowing for easy content updates and page management, a members area for chapter directors and their constituents, users and group management and a bright new look and feel.

Breast Cancer Awareness

spacer Radar Blue, Inc. was hired by Solos Health, LLC to develop BreastCancerAwareness.com -- a site that combines news, forums, blogs and event information. In addition, users can register for a BreastCancerAwareness.com email address with a portion of the proceeds going to breast cancer research. Radar Blue is proud to help in the ongoing fight against breast cancer.

Software.com

www.software.com

spacer Radar Blue, Inc. developed Software.com's entire backend based on RBApps -- our object-oriented, Model View Controller (MVC) web framework.

The build provided Software.com's management with complete autonomy over their site including automated feed support to import updated titles from their vendors, content management, zone-based content-placement and advertising, link management and user registration and management.

The system allows for the management of an unlimited number of software titles and reviews without any knowledge of HTML or having to rely on outside developers.

Using Smarty as our View layer allowed for Software.com's designers to have unfettered access to the site's templates -- freeing them to concentrate exlusively on making the site look great without having to worry about stepping on functional code.
