I’m not going to miss Twinkies, because I never ate one. HAH! Outsmarted you, Hostess company! Hah! Hah!
I miss all the other foods. I’m so glad I never ate a Twinkie, because I’d probably be heartbroken that Hostess is going out of business. As it is, I just have these to be heartbroken over. More »

How do you handle your death threats?
I mean, we all get them, right? Because the Internet is kind of a lawless wasteland? I mean, I didn’t like Facebook Couple’s pages and someone replied:
“Jesus Christ. Go kill yourself; problem solved for all parties.”
So, yes, we all get idle death threats from people who want us to die. There isn’t usually much logic behind them, and they’re not to be taken seriously.
Women’s right campaigner Hildur Lilliendahl Viggósdóttir certainly does More »
How excited are you for Christmas? Not as excited as this lady, I bet. The December issue of W Magazine contains a delightfully weird editorial in which rising French actress (and magazine cover girl) Marion Cotillard acts out a seasonally appropriate fetish involving vinyl clothing and life sized, animated nutcracker men. I’d say this is some art director’s secret shame, but the original always did have a hint of objectum sexualis, now that I think of it. Fortunately, Marion Cotillard can make anything look sexy, even a romance between a woman and a kitchen utensil. The accompanying interview is worth a read, too. More »

The last Twilight installment is upon us (well, tomorrow)! That means an upkick in Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson romance speculation, lots of sheer dresses and an end to this long dark period in human history. But rather than doing your average “X celebrity’s best red carpet looks” roundup that is typical on the eve of a big premiere–it would just be sheer lace dresses anyway–we decided to celebrate Stewart’s other trademark: the many Chucks, Vans and Nike lowtops she switches into after suffering a few feet of red carpet in towering heels. Let us begin: More »

V Magazine’s ‘Girl Power’ issue sure does have a lot of diversity. Apparently, “girl power” encompasses everyone from that creepy human Barbie person to…well, actual powerful girls. For their “Studs” editorial, V shot several androgynous women (“athletes, artists, lovers”) whose queer identity marks them as “studs” rather than “tomboys,” at least according to the woman in the accompanying video. Because it’s fun to imagine I am friends with cool and attractive people, I’m going to make up personalities for them. As lovers. More »

ROB KARDASHIAN’S SOCK LINE, ARTHUR GEORGE, HAS ARRIVED. HE FELT VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS.
Remember? Remember how passionate he felt? Remember how to demonstrate his passion he showed naked ladies wearing socks? I’m still only adjusting to this video, and now the sock line is here! And available at Neiman Marcus. You should check out all of it, but here is a sampling, which I have ranked in order of passion. More »
