Two of the most challenging subjects for children are often writing and math. Our free family seminar, The Secrets to Good Grades in Composition and Mathematics, shares the best ways to cultivate your child’s skills without actually doing the work for them.
This can be a tremendously challenging area for parents to teach – if you are not comfortable, you may find it difficult to set your child at ease with these important skills.
Gretchen Roe, homeschool mom and Calvert Community Liaison, will let you in on the secrets to good grades in composition and mathematics. Using techniques that are suitable for students of all ages, you’ll learn how to:
- establish effective work habits – especially for younger students
- guide your child from an assignment to a superb finished product
