Mission Statement

The Center for Housing and Financial Markets aims to examine public policy issues in housing and mortgage finance. Among the issues being explored by the Center are sustaining the record high homeownership rate in America; the “housing bubble;” the role and future of the Federal Housing Administration, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac; and predatory lending.
