SSBV is a technology driven organisation, active in the domains of (aero)Space, Remote Sensing & Monitoring, Defence & Security and the development of High-Tech Systems.
Based on in-house technology, engineering, assembly and test skills, SSBV is able to provide system, subsystem and unit level solutions.
Since its establishment as Satellite Services B.V. in 1985, SSBV has evolved into a group of high-tech, SME-sized companies, operating world-wide.
The SSBV headquarters and a number of other operating companies are located in the SSBV building in the Space Business Park in Noordwijk aan Zee, The Netherlands, whereas the largest foreign subsidiary company (SSBV Space & Ground Systems UK) is located in Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
Within SSBV and its partnership companies, a wide range of activities are supported. These range from the provision of ground based systems for simulation, test and communication to the provision of smallsat subsystems, sensors and involvement in small satellite platforms.
The latest expansion of activities in the Defence and Security domain include the ACRIDS family of Precision Airdrop Systems and compact Synthetic Aperture Radar solutions for airborne and UAV applications.
Through internally available systems, infrastructure and experience, also remote sensing and monitoring services can be provided.

21-09-2012: In response to a formal announcement made by Rovsing A/S of Denmark on the 20th of September 2012, the SSBV Aerospace & Technology Group (SSBV) is pleased to acknowledge the merger of satellite simulation and test products between the organisations.

19-09-2012: From 25-27 September 2012, the workshop on Simulation and EGSE for Space Programmes (SESP) takes place at ESA-ESTEC, Noordwijk The Netherlands.
SSBV Space & Ground Systems will present a paper and demonstrate a number of EGSE systems throughout the event.
17-09-2012: SSBV Space & Ground Systems will exhibit at the International Astronautical Congress 2012, Naples from 1-5 October. The SSBV booth #23 can be found on the well-known Dutch Pavilion ("SpaceNed/NAG") in Hall 2, opposite the Cluster Forum.
09-08-2012: Meet SSBV at the 26th annual AIAA/USU conference on small satellites.
From August 13th to 16th, the 26th annual conference on small satellites will take place at the Utah State University in Logan, Utah, USA.
SSBV can be found at booth #59.
06-07-2012: SSBV today introduced its ACRIDS product family for Precision Airdrop Systems. The ACRIDS family consists of two Air Guidance Units and a range of three parafoils, to allow delivery of goods weighing 70 to 1000 kg at a predesignated destination with an average accuracy of 50m.

You can visit us at booth #AS1 for most Defence and Security related products including the ACRIDS systems for Precision Airdrop.
