I’m curious: I know you’ve shown the necessary HTML code to add a search box on my site for Google, Yahoo, eBay, Pinterest, and many more, but what about Gmail? It’s not that I want other people to be searching my mailbox, I’m just curious if we could set it up so that they could search their own Google Mail – GMail – archive for a specified pattern, and then perhaps even have that pattern hardcoded as a search button, instead of a search box. Doable?

Well now I’m curious too. What the deuce do you want to offer this feature for on your site? So you can have a “click to find email you’ve sent me” or similar? Otherwise it’s a bit of an odd request because clearly anyone who doesn’t have a Gmail account or isn’t presently logged in is going to find it dead useless. [...]
