The Whole House FM transmitter system is the perfect solution for transmitting SIRIUS XM on to all of the FM radios in your home or workplace. With the Whole House FM transmitter system you can hear SIRIUS XM on any FM radio that is tuned into the selected FM transmission channel. It can be tuned into any frequency on the entire public band (88.1 - 107.9) with a transmission range of 150 feet. It also includes all adapters required for portable use.

WARNING, VIDEO AND FAQ

Whole House FM Transmitter Tips

• Check www.radio-locator.com to find an unused FM frequency in your area.
• For best results use the WHFMT on lower FM frequencies (88.1 through 99.9) if possible.
• Powering the WHFMT with new batteries or via USB cable will often result in less interference than using the unit with an AC or DC power adapter. Power adapters can pick up and cause interference.
• Set your input device (satellite radio, mp3 player, etc.) to 50-75% volume. Setting your input device to max volume can over-modulate the transmitter and cause poor sound quality.
• Satellite radios MUST have their internal FM transmitter turned OFF. The internal FM transmitter will compete with the WHFMT and yield poor results if not turned off.
• Use the included Antenna Extender Kit to give the WHFMT maximum range. It is NOT necessary to trim the length as stated in the instructions.
• Turn ON the hidden internal power switch for more range. (See document titled "Internal Power Switch Instructions for details)
• Double check to make sure your FM radio is on the same frequency as the WHFMT.
• If you have followed all of the above tips and still experience static or interference, try repositioning your WHFMT. Sometimes other household electronics can interfere with the WHFMT.
