The Brooklyn Museum's Gallery/Studio Program offers fun and challenging studio art courses for students ages six through adult. Through instruction in the gallery and studio, teaching artists help students develop skills in viewing and creating art. Participants explore the Museum's renowned collections, discover new art materials, and create their own works of art inspired by the galleries. Fall classes include instruction in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital photography, and mixed media. At the conclusion of each semester, there is a 2–3 month exhibition of the students' work in the Museum's Con Edison Education Gallery.

Courses do not have any prerequisites. All levels of experience are welcome.

A limited number of Gallery/Studio scholarships are available for students ages 6–17. Applications are accepted August 22–September 2.

Interested teens should see the Gallery/Studio Work-Study Program. Application deadline is September 7.
