For many people around the world, taking a vacation is something to look forward to. However, its perfect climate throughout the year is its main appeal although because of it being close in proximity to North Africa it does tend to become very hot during summer. But overall one will not be disappointed with its pleasant weather.
Most vacationers to the island of Tenerife prefer renting private villas than booking into hotels. This not only gives them their own privacy but they also can enjoy the luxuries of a swimming pool, lounge areas, and other facilities as well. This is a feature a lot of holidaymakers seek when visiting the island.
Tenerife villas are available on rent in a vast number of resorts. Depending on your individual needs and tastes, choose the resort most tailored to your liking and type of holiday. A large family or a young honeymooning couple or even a group of college-going men and women looking for a cheap but fun filled getaway can book themselves into the Playa de las Americas. Not only is this resort easy on your pocket but offers great value and excellent service in its bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
There are a number of apartments available on rent, too, just the same as on mainland Spain and other Spanish islands. Most of the higher-end villas in Tenerife are located in Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos. Both of these resorts are not situated all that far in distance to Playa de las Americas though they differ greatly in style. There are also many other 5 star hotels that cater to a different type of clientele, more on the mature side. The cost of renting villas and apartments as well as restaurants can be a bit on the costly side. But if what you are looking for is a quiet and relaxed holiday then it is better to book yourselves into one of these places instead of Playa de las Americas.
