Solidarity campaign Croatia: Construction company refuses to pay workers' wages
The Trade Union of Construction Industry of Croatia reports that the company Konstruktor-Inženjering Split, has been refusing to pay workers their wages for the last six months. Workers had no other option than to go on strike on 6 November 2012.
Workers are presently on strike at four major construction sites in Croatia where they build a highway. On some locations the union reports that workers were even left without electricity, heat or water.
The company employs 1200 workers.
ACT NOW! Send your protest messages urgently to the company calling for appropriate measures to ensure so that the workers receive their wages.
