Killing the iTunes "MiniStore"
Yesterday's iTunes update continues the recent tradition of adding marketing features instead of, well, real features. When you start it up for the first time and see the "MiniStore" that appears at the bottom of the main window, don't panic -- just hit Cmd-shift-M.

iTunes can now send audio to multiple Airports.. that's a new (and long overdue) feature.

Cool. I missed that. I'm living in the past. I'm still bitter about the crippling of sharing features that dates back to 4.0 or so.

Actually, I thought the same thing at first; however, I collect a lot of indy music from various blogs, and occasionally have a listening session. It's kind of cool to listen to a track from a band I've never heard of, and be able to automatically see what material is available on the iTunes store. Not an earth-shaking kind of feature, true, but definitely convenient sometimes.

It would be great if the mini-store would work with the radio streams that are available in iTunes. Each time a new song comes up in the radio, the store would update.
