300-500 words
Up to 30 word description about you
Category designation
Your contact information and photo (jpg/gif/png format)
Article photo – if available (jpg/gif/png format)

IT’S ABOUT ME: As a service to our post authors, we will run a brief description (50 words or less) about you, including informatin about your business or services, contact information, links to sites, etc.

POLITICS: Anything political.

RANT!: Got something on your chest? Need a soapbox? Need to vent? Rant! is the section for you.

REAL GREEN: Recycling, the environment, alternative energy.

TRAVEL & FUN: Anything connected with travel, relaxation, down-time, how to have fun.

RELIGION & SPIRITUALITY: Love it or hate it, your religious-related submissions go here.

HEALTH & FITNESS: Physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing; medical, healthy eating, exercising, etc.

VIDA VIVA!: Living life to the fullest.

UNCATEGORIZED: When your submission doesn’t fit any of the other categories

Turning Point (noun): A point at which a decisive change takes place; critical point; crisis. Having faced several minor and at least one major turning point of my own, I can speak from experience that usually these experiences result in positive changes. How many times has the result of your hard work resulted in an outcome far removed from what you intended? How many times have you cried out, “why?” only to later discover that the topic of your anguished question was the best thing that ever happened to you? Whether you have been downsized, outsized or resized in your business, whether you realize your finances will prevent you from retiring with dignity…. or if you have faced significant changes in your personal life, it is important to realize that your turning points are the necessary experiences that can lead to greater fulfillment and open your eyes to different thinking patterns and habits. Not all turning points are negative. Many are glorious unexpected windfalls. You receive an unexpected raise, new business drops into your lap, you meet the love of your life. These too are important turning points. And that’s what turningpointmagazine is all about. It is a platform for discovering new coping mechanisms and learning to embrace your turning points.
