SearchSMB.com has a nice article on Web 2.0 technologies, and what CIO's want from their vendors. While using data from a Forrester Research study (119 CIO's of companies over 500 employees), the author of the report, Oliver Young, had this quote (emphasis, mine):
Seventy-one percent said they would be more interested in Web 2.0 technology if they could buy it from major vendors such as Microsoft or IBM. And 74% said they would be more interested in Web 2.0 technology if they could acquire it as a software suite.
Young said major vendors are starting to offer Web 2.0 suites. For example, IBM's latest upgrade of Lotus Notes includes several Web 2.0 components integrated into its collaboration platform.
"It's the best-looking suite out there for Web 2.0," Young said. He added that Microsoft's Sharepoint product also features the beginnings of a Web 2.0 suite.
These CIO's want one vendor, with tightly integrated Web 2.0, that are "fast and agile" and that can be "deployed quickly and easily."
Very nice to see that Lotus Notes has "...the best-looking suite out there for Web 2.0." Couple the out-of-the-box functionality of Notes/Domino with some excellent templates from OpenNTF, and you are ready to leverage Web 2.0 in your Domino environment.

WHOA.
I love Domino. I think that's pretty clear to the world by now. But wha-wha-WHAT!??!?
Maybe they're just talking about DWA and the web administrator? Those are brilliant out of the box implementations of web 2.0. But Domino as a development tool provides almost NOTHING that's web 2.0! You need Jack Ratcliff or Tim Tripcony to make your Domino environmet feel advanced!

@Nathan - Since we do not subscribe to Forrester Research, the best I can tell you is that they were looking at "blogs, wikis, podcasts, RSS, social networking, and content tagging." I don't think that it had anything to do with implementing the technologies in, say, Domino Administrator or Domino Developer clients. But if this really is looking at providing the tools to leverage Web 2.0, then, yeah, Notes/Domino has those technologies covered.

I definitely want to see that report. If the idea is that there are more Web 2.0 turnkey applications out there for Domino than any other major platform, I think it's time for IBM to through their developer community a party the size of Lotusphere.
Oh wait... there's Lotusphere.
But seriously, that would be something to celebrate.

I hope you don't think me 'cheap,' but at $279 for that report, I am going to have to pass. And it is only 4 pages.
