Wireless Consumer Usage Alerts

CTIA and participating wireless providers unveiled a voluntary initiative to offer free alerts on subscribers’ voice, data, texts and international usage as part of the CTIA “Consumer Code for Wireless Service.” At the launch Oct. 17, 2011, the participating providers agreed to offer two of four alerts by Oct. 17, 2012 and the remaining alerts by Apr. 17, 2013. Each provider has met this deadline and is on track to meet or beat April’s deadline.
