MWW Group Wins at the 2011 Bulldog Awards

spacer We are excited to announce MWW Group has won a 2011 Bulldog Awards. MWW Group was honored with Best Technology Campaign for Excellence in Media and Public Relations for the Nikon Festival Social Campaign Championing D-SLR Video. Merging the popularity of HD video and user-generated content creation within the social media space, Nikon, MWW Group, and McCann Erickson redefined movie-making with the first-ever online film festival relying solely on social media.

The quantity and quality of buzz surrounding the Nikon brand and cameras was incredible. The Festival reached hundreds of millions in a short span of time through active participants, influential celebrity judges, Ashton Kutcher, media, fans and followers.  By creating a new way for people to interact with Nikon, the Festival generated excellent buzz and unique consumer engagement.

The Bulldog Awards honors the best agencies and outstanding individuals in PR and corporate communications and is the only award judged by working journalists, and now bloggers. All winners are also entered in the PR Hall of Fame and receive the industry’s highest honor.
