Required reading for all forum users!!!

Register to access the full functionality of the GSResources forum. Until you register, activate your account and log you will not have full forum access, nor will you be able to post or reply.

A note to new registrants...

All new forum registrations have to be accepted by the forum admin before you have full access to the forum. This was done because of spammers taking advantage of the process when it was done automatically. Because the validation is done on a as time is available basis and as such, may take a day or so before your registration is either accepted or denied. Be patient. All complaints will be deleted. Another note - if your registration is deleted your registration looked "suspicious". Simply reregister and send a Private Message to Administrator asking to become a forum member.

A note to old forum members...

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Just wanted to send out a reminder that if you want your rally listed on the homepage of The GSResources, please let me know. I don't have a lot of time to wade through the posts, so if you are looking to get more exposure for your event, be sure to email or PM the details to me. Please note that I will only list annual events on the homepage, not the small weekend get-togethers. So once dates have been formalized for your annual rally, let me know.

If you would like to have the thread for your annual event made a 'sticky', then send me a PM and let me know.

Please note that you may list all GS related events in the forum calendar.

For those rides that are really popular, I will make those threads stickies. If I miss one that has mass appeal please bring it to my attention.

One final suggestion...
When creating a thread for a new ride, please continue to update the first article in the thread with the latest ride information. This saves people from having to wade through pages of posts for the information.

New users should be sure to read the posts in the Announcements forum. This will answer many of the questions you may have about how this forum works.

Before posting questions in the forums be sure to use the forum search function!!! Odds are your question has already been asked and answered before. And when posting, please make sure that you post to the correct forum.

Finally, be sure to check out BassCliff's website here. He has useful information that can't be found on this site. His welcome page containing useful GS information can be found here. Be sure to check it out!

We are at that time of the year once again where all the 2010 annual rallies have been completed. Because there will be very little traffic to these threads you risk losing it when the database gets purged the next time. If you want to use some of the information in your 2010 threads to create your 2011 threads, now is the time to do it. Send me a PM when you create the new thread and I'll make the thread a sticky, as well as update the info on the website's homepage. Thanks for your cooperation.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password, chances are your account is deleted. Just create a new forum account and you should be all set.
