How to Pay Your Tuition and Housing Deposits

Once you've decided to attend Saint Louis University, you must pay a non-refundable $200 tuition deposit to hold your place at SLU. In addition, you will need to submit a $250 housing deposit and complete a housing application to reserve your place in a University residence hall ($200 of the housing deposit is refundable for freshmen and new transfer students until May 1).

You can pay both deposits online through the mySLU portal - it is not required that you pay the tuition and housing deposits simultaneously.

Please note that your housing deposit must be submitted prior to accessing the online housing application. For information on applying for campus housing, click here.

Paying Online

Log in to the mySLU portal using the SLUNet ID and password found in your admission packet. (If you've never visited mySLU before, follow these instructions to activate your SLUNet ID.)
Once you're logged in to mySLU, click on the Tools tab in the upper-left side of the screen. Then click on the Payment Suite icon.
Click on the Deposit tab. Then click on the drop-down menu and choose either your non-refundable $200 tuition deposit or your $250 housing deposit. The tuition deposit is labeled "Undergrad Tuit Dep" followed by the semester during which your enrollment will begin; the housing deposit is labeled "Housing Adv Fee" followed by the semester in which your enrollment will begin.
Once you make your selection, click on Make Deposit Payment. Choose from the drop-down to pay straight from your checking/savings account or to use a credit card (through the Paypath tuition payment service).

Paying by Mail

If you're paying your deposit(s) with a check, please mail to:

*Include the student's Banner ID number on the check.

Please note that your housing deposit must be processed prior to accessing the online housing application. Submitting your housing deposit via mail will delay this process.

Paying in Person

Payments may be made directly to the Cashier located in DuBourg Hall, Room 4.
