In addition to common hybrids, there are also plenty of hybrids that most people are unfamiliar with. Zebroids, for example, are a category of zebra hybrids that are not as well-known as common hybrids like the mule. They are the result of a zebra stallion mating with a species of equine, or hoofed mammal. Some such variations of zebroids include: zorse, zony and zonkey.
