A Dutch localization of Dread Lords. It is about 80% complete and focuses on high quality translations. Work is progressing steady, the end result slowly becomes visible.
Version history: 0.1 - First release, user interface & names of in-game objects mostly translated 0.2 - Tooltips, political parties, invasion tactics fully translated. Large part of negotiations translated. Quality improvements to existing translations. 0.3 - Modified some screens to make translated texts fit better in available space. Lots of work on translating negotiations further. Ability bonus texts translated, race descriptions translated. Hints, starbase modules, cutscenes translated. 0.4 - Modified more screens to make translated text fit better. Fixed a few errors in the text. Small updates. 0.5 - Port to Dark Avatar, including importing & adapting existing texts, translating new text, modifying screens. Negotiations translation completed.

X-Com against many Alien races; Anthropods, Aquatoids & Sectoids - the whole concept from Apocalypse, Terror from the Deep & UFO:Defense. In fact, three different mods in one including three extra Major Races; Interceptors(from X-Com), Thunderbirds(Yup, 1-2-3-4-5 Go!) and S-H-A-D-O (from the 80's TeeVee show known as UFO:Invasion).
This version updates the following; - Introductory set of ships & fleets - Tech Tree finalized - Enhanced espionage assets - Ultimate colonization & Extremes terraforming query tiles - Plenty more!

Approximately 165(+) Planets, plenty of Rings & Moons, specific RAW surfaces. All of which directly related to the X-Com "Worlds" and with specific coloring patterns... zoom in, since some 'hidden' details will only be shown on query tiles by an all new concept for Terraforming & Extremes!

Current version: 1.7.6 The Galactopedia is a utility program for Stardock’s excellent space strategy game Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords, providing you with exhaustive information on all objects and technologies defined by the game. The information is taken directly from the game’s data files, and therefore always up-to-date.
This version is based on version 1.6.1, released on 10 December 2006, by Christoph Nahr. I have made it Twilight of the Arnor compatible, fixed several bugs, and provided a few new minor features. And possible introduced some new bugs in the process. This version is also, unlike 1.6.1, fully compatible with the latest version of Dark Avatar. The modified source code can be provided upon request.

This script converts GC_Conversations.xml from Dread Lords to Dark Avatar format.
While porting my Dutch Language Mod from Dreadlords to Dark Avatar, I noticed that it was hard to copy/paste the translated texts in GC2_Conversations.xml, because the XML format had slightly changed. To aid in the conversion I wrote this little script that converts the GC2_Conversations.xml from Dread Lords to Dark Avatar format, after which it is trivial to copy/paste translated texts from the translated Dread Lords file to the the Dark Avatar file.
I make the script available through the GC2 Metaverse Library for the case it is usefull for someone else.

I updated the Geckodon's tech tree, abilities, portrait and gave them a ship style. NOTE: The templates in the ship Cfg file will replace the default Krynn colony, survey and miner templates.

Mods
This mod adds Conglomerate of Zod, a stripped version of General Pant's Political Parties (that fits more seamlessly into the game) and Universal Ability Bonuses/Penalties. The Conglomerate does not replace any of the stock races, and is loaded as a regular custom race.
Do note that the Conglomerate comes with predefined bonuses and penalties and have all it's points spent. The spent points is how I intended the race to be played, but it's of course possible to reassign the points spent, or just go with the stock bonuses/penalties of the race itself.
The Conglomerate of Zod is originally based on the Korx, but with aspects of the Drath and Korath. It's got a unique tech-tree and a few changed improvements to match.
The Conglomerate folder goes into the mods directory, and the raceconfigxml goes along with the others; straight into the My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor.
The mod have been tested for Twilight of the Arnor 2.0. There may or may not be problems running it with other versions.

Minor Races which are 'assembled' as themes such as Star Trek (ready to use) & Super-Heroes, etc. Must be unzipped as is into the usual CoSH mod folder & then, follow the readme file instructions to install properly.
