Charging

Charging your CODA is fast and easy using our best-in-class 6.6kW charger.

STANDARD OUTLET: LEVEL 1, 120V

A standard household outlet can be used to recharge your CODA, but this small circuit provides only a slow trickle of power. This can be handy when you need to top off your charge. Your CODA comes standard with a portable 120V charging cable located in the trunk. This cord can be plugged into any household outlet (the same outlet that you plug a toaster or TV into). You can get a full charge, but if you start from empty, a full charge can take up to 36-40 hours.

HOME CHARGING STATION: LEVEL 2, 240V

Installing a home charging station is the recommended way to charge. Just two hours on the plug gives you 50 miles of range, more range than the average daily commute. A full charge is achieved in about six hours3, starting from empty. Installing a home charger may be considered a home improvement and may increase the value of your home. You'll never have to stop at a gas station again.

CODA recommends GE's WattStation™ Wall Mount as the preferred home charging unit for the CODA. With easy functionality, the simple design allows for uncomplicated integration of fast Level 2 electric vehicle charging into your everyday activities. The WattStation Wall Mount, MSRP $1,195, can be purchased through CODA Dealers. When considering alternate home charging units, be sure to look for an output of 30amps to ensure fastest charge. Contact your local CODA Dealer or call CODA at 855-464-2632 to learn more about your options and installation.

OUT-OF-HOME: PUBLIC CHARGERS

Now that the EV plug is standardized (SAE-J1772), public charging stations are popping up all over the country. Public stations can be found on the street, in parking lots, shopping malls and more. While many are still free to use, companies like ChargePoint allow for immediate charging with a swipe of a card. On the go? Download PlugShare's mobile app to have instant access to EV chargers near you. Planning a trip? Use EV Charger Maps to see where you can make stops along the way to recharge.

The WattStation is available for purchase through CODA Dealers. MSRP $1,195.

4. CONSTRUCTION BIDS AND PERMIT GENERATED

Upon approval of construction documents and permits, the home charging station is installed by Mr. Electric or your certified electrician. Installing a home charging station is considered a home improvement and may increase the value of your home.
