A rooftop solar energy system can enable you to drive completely emissions free while dramatically reducing your electricity bill.
Solar Panels
Solar panels are typically installed on the roof and are made up of photovoltaic (PV) cells, which convert sunlight into direct current (DC) power.
Inverter
The DC power from the solar panels is sent to an inverter, where it is converted into alternating current (AC) power, or standard electrical current used to power your electric vehicle and your home.
Electric Panel
AC power travels from the inverter to the electrical panel, often called a breaker box.
Utility Meter
The utility meter continually measures your electrical supply; when your solar system produces more power than you need, the meter literally spins backwards, accumulating credits with the utility company that will offset your next bill.
Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Your CODA can be plugged into any standard 120V outlet. For the quickest home charging experience, however, we recommend installing a Level 2 240V Charging Station. CODA's 6.6 kW onboard charging capability allows you to refill your CODA from empty to full in about 6 hours.
Electric Vehicle
When you drive an All-Electric CODA you stop paying for gas, reduce our dependence on oil, and produce zero tailpipe emissions.
Utility Grid
Your home remains connected to the utility grid to supply you with electricity when you need more power than your system has produced, such as at night.

Actual range and vehicle performance will vary depending on personal driving style, speed, traffic, temperature, weather conditions, and cargo load.
