« Day trips! | Main | 2005 - year two in the Harris »
November on the Mediterranean can be quite agreeable. And so it has been today, as is clear from the above view towards Nice from the Picasso Museum.
Antibes is a special place. And it a perfect haven of peace in November, with not a tourist in sight. (I don't count!) It is a scant 20 minute drive from Errol and Susie Girdlestone's place in Villeneuve-Loubet. And I always try to get here when I am down here. The old town (below) is a delight and the market is a source of great fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, spices.......whatever you need to satisfy the appetite for good things.
I get back to London tomorrow afternoon. I will post the 2005 chapter of my COT chronicle tomorrow evening. My USA readers should see it around 3pm central time.
