“As each on has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11
We are all called to use our gifts and talents to serve one another in the local church. This month is your chance to learn more about how you can get involved and start serving! Sunday Night Teams
Serves as Frontline’s “first foot forward” to make people feel welcome from the moment they walk in. A great entry point to serving because all activities take place at the Frontline worship service, when you are already there! Volunteers are needed for both Greeting and Offering Collection. We also need leaders to help oversee this ministry.
New People Ministry
Welcomes people who are new to Frontline. It’s a great place for people who enjoy striking up conversations and making people feel included! Volunteers and leaders are needed for the Connection Point Meeting, Connect Dinners (monthly), Welcome Team (Welcome Desk and greeters), and Follow-Up Team (calls first-time guests).
Athletics
Uses sports as the vehicle to connect with people and share Christ, with a mission to honor Jesus through sports. Volunteers are needed to lead Adventure Sports events, coach league teams, and coordinate pick-up sports.
Frontline Events
Involves Frontliners in planning events which create community, such as the Fall Retreat and socials after the service. A great place to serve if you enjoy behind the scenes activities. Volunteers are needed to be event leaders and committee members.
Small Groups
A small group leader meets with a group of peers weekly to guide them in spiritual formation and accountability and to equip them to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Apprentices, or leaders in training, are also needed to take on various roles within a small group to prepare them for leading. Also, the Small Groups team often needs help with website work, data entry, and other administrative projects.
Creative Arts
Tech: Production assistants, camera operators, and ProPresenter volunteers help make the Frontline service happen each week, and training is provided! Also, those talented in video production and fine arts are needed for special projects within Frontline.
Musician/Vocalist: We have a team who leads Frontline in worship each week, so we are in need of vocalists and various types of musicians. Auditions are required.
The Gathering
Small Group Leaders needed to lead a small group of 8-12 men or women in biblical community on a college campus at American University or George Mason University.
Regional Communities
We are looking for volunteers to help start new Regional Communities or get involved in leading service gatherings, social gatherings, and other areas in our existing Regional Communities.
Global Impact
As you grow in your relationship with Christ, our desire is that you would take a step of faith and participate in a short-term mission trip to expand your worldview, experience the global body of Christ, and to be open to what the Lord is calling you to do. If you’ve previously participated in a short-term mission trip (with Frontline or another church/organization) and have the desires to grow and disciple other young adults through a cross-cultural experience, please consider applying for Global Impact leadership.
P.I.E. Street Evangelism Ministry
Our need is for someone willing to be put ona rotation to drive a large van from 7pm- 12am during our street evangelism outings. P.I.E goes out into DC the third Saturday of every month.
