SAS begin through the Gathering in 2003.  Through SAS, we seek to respond to the Biblical command found in Proverbs 31:8, 9

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves…defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

SAS is a student-led, volunteer-based ministry that hopes to visit college campuses nationwide to raise awareness and spur hearts to respond to this injustice. We see-saw for the 1 million people each year who can’t — whose childhood has been stolen, forced into the life of prostitution.
