Challenge:
With the re-launch of a wildly popular Beyblade toy line coinciding with a new animated TV series for American audiences, Hasbro wanted an exciting way to introduce and extend the brand experience that would generate a high level of engagement.

Solution:
interFUEL created a true Digital Product Extension (DPE) of the physical toy. By entering special codes, this real-time, multi-player online battling experience lets kids customize tops, earn trophies, and battle head-to-head with other kids around the globe.

Result:
As Hasbro’s #1 most popular online gaming site, it now boasts several millions of users from over 40 countries and continues to grow as new games and features are still being added. The Beyblade DPE has grown to support three additional product lines.
