"That Sounds Good!" WWOZ's Cookbook & Apron are Ready to Order!

Its existence has long been rumored, and now we're happy to say, "The rumors are true!"

Our cookbook, That Sounds Good!, a collection of recipes drawn from WWOZ's Louisiana music community, is here!

The book contains a variety of eats and drinks which reflect the cultural mix and character of the station...from Russell Batiste's "Rockin' Spaghetti" to Dr. John's "Raccoon Stew" to Kermit Ruffin's "Barbecue Smoked Turkey".

But it's far more that just a cookbook. That Sounds Good! also contains a history of the station's 30+ years, and images from the WWOZ's past, like logos, photos, and even an old program schedule.

We expect printed copies of the book to arrive in mid-November, but we're taking pre orders now!
