Faculty and Staff Room Request Instructions:

This is a way to view and request many spaces on the Highland Heights campus!  Student Union, University Center, Outdoor Plaza spaces and numerous classrooms can be viewed and requested online through the Reservation Request System. 

Note:  There are still rooms on campus that are controlled by specific departments.  Such rooms can be viewed online through the Reservation Request System, but cannot be requested online.  For information regarding who to contact to request a controlled room, please look at the room description within the Reservation Request System. 

There are also several spaces across campus that are not currently in the Reservation Request System.  For a list of conference/meeting spaces that are not yet in the Reservation Request System, please click on the Traditional Request Table link.  This list contains contact information for these spaces.  

A note regarding Classrooms:  Requests for classrooms are dependent upon the class assignments that are determined before the start of each semester.  Classroom requests for events during upcoming semesters will be evaluated once the class assignments for that upcoming semester have been completed.  Please feel free to submit a classroom request at any time; the Registrar's office will respond to your request and let you know when it will be processed.  For questions regarding this information, please contact Janis Reynolds (x6431 - reynoldsja@nku.edu) or Katie Lovold (x5159 - lovoldk1@nku.edu).
 

Getting started in the Reservation Request System:

  • Go to roomrequest.nku.edu  
  •  Under username and password-- enter your NKU username (portion before @nku.edu) and password. 

  • Use the Calendar tab to see if the space you need appears available and use the Request Event button to make your request.  
  • Remember the event date must be at least three days out and meeting times must be within building hours or the rooms will be controlled.  See room descriptions on the Resources Tab for whom to contact in these cases.
